Reading A Book Has Never Been So Easy

Them to get straight to the point. I’m not really a reader. I don’t have the peace and quiet to read a book ‘quietly’. That’s so easy with 2 kids around you ;). And besides, I don’t always have a book at hand, when I do have a few minutes to myself. Sometimes I want to take a bath with a book, but then I always manage to get the book wet. So not always a success.

But then came the solution.

But then came the solution.

Kobo. Kobo? Yes, Kobo! An e-reader. I was approached to test it. My parents have an e-reader and I always thought this was something for older people, so I wasn’t immediately enthusiastic. But to be honest, I was really surprised by this device.

I’ve been using it all summer, to see if it’s any good. And I can honestly say I’m very happy with it!

Some advantages of the Kobo at a glance.

  • You can link the Kobo e-reader to your Bol.com account, so you can order your books via the e-reader
  • Even the new book by #workmode ladies Emilie and Martje ‘Babe, You’ve Got This’ can be downloaded as an e-book (as well as about 18,000 other Dutch-language books)
  • Because the e-reader glows in the dark, you can also easily read a few pages before going to sleep
  • The e-reader fits in my Mini Cruise Bag by Denise Roobel (essential!) and is therefore super handy and easy to take with you
Some advantages of the Kobo at a glance.

So last summer I often sat on the terrace or in the playground, where I read a few pages of my book, while the boys enjoyed themselves in the sandbox or on the climbing frame. Ideal!

The first book has actually been finished and I have started the second. It can’t get any crazier 😉
