Are people who really believe that hanging a dreamcatcher helps with a good night’s sleep. Well, every parent wants their child to have a good night’s sleep, so you see them a lot in children’s rooms.
We now have such cool ones from the brand Minalulu , handmade in Germany by Vanessa. Mother of 2 daughters (1 and 5), who after the birth of her second child and too little sleep, became interested in dream catchers. And so she started making them herself. She started making the children’s favorite animals, with the idea that these animals would chase away bad dreams. So she made tigers, unicorns, Miffy and horses.
Later she started making the variations with the pompoms and we really like them! They look great in any child’s room and let’s be honest, there are plenty of other places in the house where they would definitely not look out of place.
Her latest variation is based on Pippi Longstocking’s horse, white with black dots, which will certainly look great in the monochrome interiors we often see today.
Vanessa makes the dreamcatchers alongside her job as an art historian in Düsseldorf and lives in Cologne. Art and fashion are her big inspiration for the different versions she makes. Go check them out!
